I started up a consignment shop back in 2016 because I experienced, as a parent, the accumulation of items that comes from raising kid(s). Their rapid growth demands new apparel before the old has been barely used. I didn’t like how I was contributing to the land fills for such short periods of wear.
This inspired me to start up my own business GIA Kidz. I started selling my very own families clothing pieces and then adding to the collection with different consignment pieces to richen up the shopping experience . All of our clothing pieces started to find new homes and have the opportunity to be re-loved again. Win Win!
Fast forward to our pandemic days. Everything and everywhere went on lockdown. Online shopping became my personal go-to for finding clothes and gifts and whatever else I needed. I came across so many wonderful small shops and makers that it inspired me to share these vendors with you too
